After finally getting our tree up, and hanging all the ornaments we picked out together at Hobby Lobby, I had to smile just knowing the meaning behind them all, and why you choose the ones you did. I have to admit after shopping for an ornament today for my Healing Hearts family, I became overwhelmed with saddness missing you this time of year. I have learned that time does not heal all pain, it just becomes softer.  I will never forget your little squills anytime we talked about Christmas, and the excitement in your voice after telling you when you got home, we were putting our tree up. Although, you never made it home that night, I know God must of had really special plans for you, so now I will decorate the best I can in memory of you because I know if I don't, you would be very disappointed lol! Love, and miss you more than I can even explain, but looking forward to celebrating Christmas in Heaven one day, with you, and Jesus! 

Sis, I was sitting here thinking the other day of the time you took me to get my Wisdom teeth out. Boy, was that an experience. I remember how great of nurse/comedian that you were to me that day. That is just one of the million stories and memories I have of you. Love and miss you more than words can say!!! You will always be my Little Lady!!

Kayla, I was thinking about the time when the neighbors house burned down, and that lady that was there ask us if we had peanut butter crackers just in case one of the firemen had a sugar problem and needed something quick. LOL It was so funny because we had nothing at the time to offer except maybe some ice cream. Then the next day when I went shopping, and not even thinking about what I was doing, bought peanut butter crackers. You had opened the cupboard and said OMGSH!! you bought peanut butter crackers, and we busted out laughing!! I'm sure some people that read this will be thinking what?, but I am glad to have shared that moment with you because it was so funny!!  Miss you so much and all of the good times we shared!! Love you

I remember the day you turned sixteen. I gave you that Sweet Sixteen necklace and everytime I saw you you had it on. You told me you were going to wear it every day because once you turned seventeen you couldn't wear it anymore. You then told me that you were going to put it up and give it to your little girl one day.

Well that day will never come and part of my heart breaks because it won't but I know you are happy where you are. You loved God so much and he wanted his little girl home with him! 

 

What a day of shared memories...we have laughed today...we have cried today...we have prayed today!  It's your twentieth birthday today Kayla=) We have celebrated your life best we can without your sweet smile here, but I believe we have all felt you here with us in some way or another, stuck balloons, windchimes chiming, the gentle cool breeze, I know you were here  .  You saw your family and friends all together and I know you were happy (well except that Mal only sent ya one balloon, and you stuck it in a tree  ha ha ha ha that was too funny).  

Love you sweet Kayla always and forever you are in our hearts and on our minds our hearts are broken because you are not with us physically but we all know who loved you so, that one sweet day we will be in Heaven with you.  God promised we will meet again and we look forward to sharing that beautiful day with you. Until then....Happy Birthday Beautiful Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We Love You 

kayla baby i haven't yet put anything in here because its very hard! You came into my life and brought me happiness that no other girl could. you were my shining star. You and your family did so much for me. If i had not had ya'll I would be lost til this day. All of are memories we have had with each other were awesome babe. We brought smiles to each others faces just by a phone call. We are the only couple that talked 23 hours on the phone straight. I truly miss you more than anything right now, Life without you is not the same for me no more. The day you left us I lost a big piece of my heart. One thing i do have is hundreds and hundreds of pictures and memories that we shared. You told me i was the love of your life and we'd get marry one day when we were 16 and we were almost at are dreams with one another. A few days before your accident you sent me a text message out of no where saying "will you always remember me?" I never got an answer why you asked that but i said I'll never forget you babe. You will be with me and remain in my heart forever and always. Today you would be 20 and i cant be the first to call you like i always did. It hurts so bad! You were the world to me and its hard to say goodbye but I Love You Kayla Diane Brown You'll Always Be My first TRUE love!

Precious Kayla, you came into my life when you were 5years old. I smile as I remember the days I would pick you up from school and the joy you brought into our life. You have given many happy memories to all and I will cherish the times we shared. I thank GOD for allowing me to share and be a part of your life. When we spoke in Aug 09, you told me how much you love Jesus and how you were going to serve him, your face was just glowing with the love in your heart for Our Lord. Your faith and love in Jesus is such a blessing to know and we know, precious Kayla, you are now in Heaven with Our Lord. There are no words to describe the deep sorrow we feel here on earth, yet, God does comfort and will continue to guide us through this most difficult journey. We have his promise and thankful we will see you again when we arrive in Heaven, see you than: ) I will continue to pray for your family and friends. You are NEVER far from our minds and this our sweet Kayla sounded just like you!   "First Christmas In Heaven " I see the countless Christmas trees, Around the world below, With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars Reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular, Please wipe away the tear, For i am spending Christmas, With Jesus this year. I hear the many Christmas songs, That people hold so dear But the sounds of music can't compare With the Christmas choir up here. I have no words to tell you, The joy their voices bring. For it is beyond description, To hear the Angels sing. I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart, But i'm not so far away We really aren't apart. So be happy for me dear ones You know i hold you dear, And be glad i'm spending Christmas With Jesus Christ this year. Kayla hard to believe this has happened we all miss you very much.  I remember in spanish wid me, you, allyson, and katie all the good times.. wat the heck FIRE!!! lol you will truely be missed kayla i'll be sure to look up to ya on the georgia auburn games :) with love, matthew

So many good times in the unfortunately shot time we had together.  I will never forget when you, me, mal, and sarah went to the beach... We were crammed in the back of sarah's little car! And being soo sun burnt when you had your graduation party. I is such a shock and a loss knowing that your gone. Can't wait to see you again!
